DESCRIPTIONAPPLICATIONSSPECIAL FEATURES
- Harmonized rubber cable in accordance with HD 22.4 which also meets the requirements of standards HD 22.12 for HO& BN4-F (heat resistant EPR cords and flexible cables) as well as HD 22.16 HO7 RN8-F (water resistant polychloroprene (also sometimes referred to as neoprene) or equivalent synthetic elastomer cables).
- Flexible copper conductor acc. to IEC 60228 class 5.
- EPR insulation acc. to HD 22.
- Elastomeric outer sheath acc. to HD 22.
- Flexible rubber cable for industrial applications which require frequent handling, trailing and flexing.
- Suitable for use under heavy duty conditions. (e.g. Construction sites, quarries etc)
Voltage 450/750 Volts max 1000 Volts where the application has built-in protection and for motors, lifting appliances, machine tools etc.
Test Voltage 2.5 kV
90ºC max. conductor operating temperature (continuous load)
max. short circuit temperature is 250ºC
max. cold flexible temperature -40ºC
water resistant to depths up to 50 meters (Slightly polluted industrial or household waste water*) at a max. water temperature of 40ºC.
min. bending radius:5 x the outer diameter of the cable.
(*) In case of heavily polluted waste water, we recommend not to use the cable below a depth of 10 meters.
